We were contacted by a lady who was convinced her estranged husband was cohabitating and had left her for another woman. She wanted proof of this and also wanted to find out where he was living
Our client told us that when her husband first left he was very sad and apologetic as he felt that after 26 years of marriage that they had grown apart and he didn’t think he loved her any more. He said he needed time apart and did not wish to tell her where he was going. He took a large amount of money out of their joint bank account which he said he needed to set himself up in a new place to live.
While waiting for her husband to return their relationship started to go from amicable to acrimonious. He stopped answering her calls and paid less money into their bank account. Our client was confused by this and she felt this was very strange behaviour for him and completely out of character. A friend of hers suggested that he might have another woman as a similar thing had happened to her. She also urged our client to give us a call to see if we could help as we had helped her in the past.
We carried out a session of surveillance on her husband and discovered the address he was living at and that there was another woman living there. We then looked into the address and it was registered in his name and the woman he was living with. They had purchased the property together just after he had left our client.
We were able to provide our client with all the evidence she needed to divorce her husband for adultery. Our client she said that after the initial shock it all became clear and that her husband had probably been having an affair with this woman for many years. She is now ready to move on with her new life.
